Dr. Irfan T K is a dedicated Emergency Physician with extensive training in the management of emergency and critically ill patients. He completed his MBBS from KIMS, Palakkad in 2019 and subsequently pursued advanced training in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Apollo Hospital, Bangalore, obtaining MRCEM (UK) Part B, EMFP (UK), and a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine in 2024.
He has experience handling a wide range of emergency conditions and is skilled in performing critical procedures such as endotracheal intubation, central venous line insertion, haemodialysis catheter placement, arterial line insertion, fascia iliac block, and transcutaneous pacing. Dr. Irfan is also proficient in point-of-care ultrasound, including e FAST and echocardiography.
Dr. Irfan began his medical career with internship training at Government General Hospital, Ernakulam, followed by service as a Medical Officer under the National Health Mission, Ernakulam. He later joined Apollo Hospital, Bangalore as a Registrar, where he gained extensive experience in emergency and critical care medicine.
He is known for his patient-centered approach, focusing on clear communication, prompt decision-making, and delivering high-quality emergency care using the latest medical technology.
