He then pursued a Diploma in Medical Radiodiagnosis (DMRD) from Madras Medical College, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (2001–2003). Following this, he worked as a Senior Resident at Elite Mission Hospital, Koorkkenchery, Thrissur (2006–2008). He has also completed FRCR Part 1.
