Dr. Darsana Cheril is a skilled Consultant Neurologist with expertise in managing complex neurological disorders, particularly stroke, epilepsy, and neuromuscular diseases. She is committed to evidence-based practice and delivering patient-centered neurological care.
She is proficient in the management of acute stroke including IV thrombolysis, status epilepticus, acute and chronic neuropathies, neuromuscular junction disorders, and muscle diseases. Her procedural skills include lumbar puncture and interpretation of nerve conduction studies, EEG, and EMG.
Dr. Darsana completed her DrNB in Neurology from Amala Institute of Medical Sciences, Thrissur (National Board of Examinations). She also holds DNB in Pediatrics, DCH, and MBBS qualifications.
She has actively participated in national conferences and has presented research posters on early nerve conduction studies in acute flaccid quadriplegia and carotid artery atherosclerotic disease in ischemic stroke. She is also a silver medalist in Microbiology and Biochemistry during her MBBS
