Dr. Jyoshid R Balan completed his MBBS from Govt. Medical College, Calicut, in 2003. He then pursued MS in General Surgery from JIPMER, Pondicherry, India, in 2008.
He further specialized in Plastic Surgery (MCh Plastic Surgery) from PGIMER, Chandigarh, India, in 2012. While working in his current institution, he obtained an additional qualification, DNB in Plastic Surgery, from the Board of Education, India, in 2014.
After completing his MCh in 2012, he joined as a Consultant at one of South India’s renowned tertiary-level centers, the Sushrutha Institute of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Elite Mission Hospital, Koorkkenchery, Thrissur.
