The medical nutrition department of Elite Mission Hospital performs a number of functions according to the nutritional needs of the patients based on the scientific principles and current information. Through a team of expert dieticians the department provides crucial support to all specialties. In medical nutrition department the 'process of care' is categorized in to four steps for all patients. Assessment, Goal setting, Intervention, Evaluation and regular follow-ups.

Dieticians meets all inpatients within 24 hours of admission and in consultation the treating physician, prescribe the therapeutic and non therapeutic diets. The medical nutrition department works in close coordination with a well equipped dietary to provide nourishing and appetizing meals to the inpatients to aid in their faster recovery.

CARE OF CRITICALLY ILL PATIENTS

In critical care unit, One expert dieticians works in close coordination with the consultants and plans special feed to be administered orally or enterally as per the patient condition and tolerance.

OUT PATIENT CLINIC

Our department has a very outpatient clinic, where patients are directed from different specialties for the management of various lifestyle disorders based on the nutritional status condition, illness or injury a dietician will work with them to optimize their treatment and aid in their recovery.

WEIGHT MANAGMENT CLINIC

Weight management isn't always simples but it's easier when you have a great program and caring people supporting you. We have a well established weight management clinic providing excellent results over the years. We provide individualized and customized diet plans use the state of art of equipment.
